Charms bar> Settings> Change PC settings> PC and devices> Bluetooth

So, beneath is the screenshot of that screen. This is all I get. No controls, nothing just information technology constantly searching without stopping. There is only a Remove Device choice but nothing well-nigh preferences to command the device or stopping bluetooth.

I have a 2nd question, would I be able to take this bluetooth dongle from my laptop and utilize it sometimes for my desktop?

b) Accept you installed the Bluetooth drivers?

c) Is the Bluetooth commuter compatible with Windows 8?

I would suggest you to install the latest Bluetooth drivers from manufacturer website of the Bluetooth you are using and cheque if it helps:

The bluetooth device is a: Targus Bluetooth iv.0 dual-style usb adapter. Model ACB10US1

I installed the driver from the included DVD equally per the instructions from the guide.
Yes, it is compatible with Windows 8, that'due south why I bought it.

Windows sees it merely fine, I but desire to be able to plough it off now and so when I'g not using information technology.

If you are even so facing the outcome here is what we tin can try:

Try these steps and bank check if you can come across the Bluetooth settings:

1. Open up PC settings , and click/tap on Network in the left pane.
2. Click/tap on Aeroplane manner in the left pane of Network.

I suspect the Bluetooth commuter is not getting installed completely then it is non showing upward.

Please bank check the status of the device in device manager.

Press Windows Key and 10 together on your keyboard, select device manger from the list. This volition take y'all to device manger window.
